HI,
Not exactly sure what to say here as this is literally the 1st time ive ever posted anything on a forum! I am extremely new to distilling and havent even finished my still yet(building a ccvm from scratch), although I have been brewing beer for some time. I would like to say thank you to everyone who contributes their hard earned knowledge to this site, it is bar none the best place I have found for distilling and I cant wait to finally run my 1st batch in about a week or two. been reading everything I can on this site and watching alot of "Still It" videos on youtube... gotta learn somehow. My first real batch after cleaning and sacrificial run will be a UJSSM, I can find nothing but good things about this recipe and love whiskey of all kinds, not a huge fan of neutrals but that may change as I get into this. Thank you guys for building and maintaining what appears to be the most user friendly and comprehensive site on the net. Wish me luck

Re: Hello Everyone
Welcome to HD, being a brewer is definitely going to help you out alot with this hobby when it comes to whiskey. If you havent already, stop by the safety threads and rules we live by, like they say read till your eyes bleed.
