Not the best time to be heading to the hospital. More likely to catch the plague there than most other places. Liquid diet is not great, but I'm glad they got you fixed up in time to go home Christmas Eve.

Clean inspection today :D Thats a year without chemo. next inspection 90 days.

I had some concerns going in today, but those concerns will be addressed, and it was

so far not a recurrence of the cancer I have been being treated for. :D

Good new cob. My wife has had to watch her numbers looking toward a future operation once they again open up nonessential operations so in the mean time I drink alone.

Well I made it 14 months without chemo. Yesterday was surgery #5 and I have to wait till tuesday

for a definitive answer, but he was verbally prepping me for a return to chemo.

If you want to watch the colonoscopy on TV while laying on your left side.

Had my 5 yearly colonoscopy, just a few weeks ago.....got the all clear this time, Any of you fellas that are at high risk get your asses in there for one.
In my case both Grandfathers died of bowel cancer , father had it but was treated early and survived. Not having one is a risk not worth taking.

I went last year wanting one but insurance wouldn't cover it because I was 49. Had to wait till I was 50.

Best wishes for you cob and WhiskeyRebellion. Hope you get the good news that there's nothing to worry about, cob. WR, colonoscopy is no big deal once you're there, but it will be great to know.

I don't have good advice about ways to avoid dwelling on it while you wait. I do the same thing. Aside from saying to take some good time to do and watch things you enjoy, stay as active as you can, and get good nights of sleep.

Coming up on 3 months since second diagnosis and no treatment has yet been devised  I appreciate the concern.

Edit; 2 hours later. I just got the call that the chemical they were unable to get is now available,

and I will start treatment in ~2 weeks.
