So I started my gin basket build this week, it is a 3" SS spool 9" long with 3x2" ferrules (inlet/outlet/sight glass) welded. I had an old spool laying around and I cut the 3 ferrules off of a 2" Tee that was no longer being used. I added a 1/4" threaded nipple to the end cap for a drain and I attached a piece of round bar to the top cap to break the cap easier when changing baskets. I have ordered 2 pre-fabb'd baskets and a 2" sight glass with a ferrule. Hoping to get to finish it up this weekend if time, sport and the wife permits.
