Foul smelling stuff

Good Morning,

I ran a batch of Rum Saturday consisting of Appox 12 gal ( using blackstrap,pure cane sugar, filtered water, 1/2 bakers yeast 1/2 EC-1118 set for 10% ABV ). I have another batch the same size to run this weekend if all goes well.I been running this same recipe for about 5 years now , so this wasnt a first timer. I use my pot still to strip it out as normal but heres the problem. The entire run smelled like TAILS. Like caramelized sugar type Tails. Super strong. The only thing I know I done differently was distill as soon as it fermented out due to time crunch and work. it usually sits for about a week till I get a free day then I run it. Any Ideas what cause this crappy smell and taste. I feel like tossing it down the drain..
