Dephlegmator or Shotgun - That is the question

I would appreciate some advice please.
I want to upgrade my ‘Mile Hi’ dual purpose (8gall) cm still. I am replacing the simple reflux water jacket with a Dephlegmator / or shotgun type of condenser in vertical configuration. This comes about because the reflux water jacket and column & product condenser is a one piece unit and I want more versatility
I am a bit confused by the two types of condenser, they appear to be one of the same design. (Vertical tubes) Is one more efficient than the other for refluxing? Thanks for any help/advise.
