Well as most that knew me know I haven't been around for a while and very limited when i was but things finally cleared up.

FATHER INLAW- ASSHOLE!

This guy went into me garage and seen what he should've never seen, equipment, barrels, grains etc. etc. Well he called the cops on me and they came... charged me with having untaxed likker for the stuff in the barrels, nothing in glass thank god but none the less they took ALL of me likker, mead and supplies.

Fast forward to now and thousands of dollars in lawyer fees, lost money in grains, honey, barrels (5gal) time off work for court the charges were finally dropped.

The only likker i had was in barrels and they couldn't prove I actually made it as I had no still on site and the fermenters were empty except two that had mead in them.

Holy shit what an ordeal, The confiscated items were not returned to me and were gotten rid of but are replaceable so I'll be fine. I'M NOT IN JAIL!!!

My wife got rid of a few gallons of mead because she was scared they were going to kick the door down with the kids in the house and shit but hey...I can make more and I firmly explained to her not to ever do that again because I can legally make beer and wine.

Lets say I'm not making anything for a while but look forward to when I can return to the fun.

Wow, sorry to hear the problems you went through. Can’t believe your father-in-law would do that especially if you are still with your wife. These are the stories none of us want to hear. ShineOn I am glad you still have your positive attitude.
That father in law would not only be barred from visiting my house but may never see his grandchildren.

Wow unbelievable! Glad you made it through this ordeal. They must be tee-totalers. +1 on in-laws not allowed in the house if they’re acting like that.

Welcome back ShineOn! I had to shake my head hearing of your dilemna. So glad you pulled yourself out of that. The last time we spoke you were flying high with your barrel hook-up and I have no doubt you'll regroup and ultimately get back to doing what you love.

We were having issues before hand but are now talking out our problems. She took this very hard because she's a higher up in her industry and being in a small town kinda made her feel shamed.

No love loss with me inlaws and now they said if me wife and I work out our shit that they'll disown her. Great fukn parents eh!!!

Is what it is and I'll keep on with life as usual.
