Can non macerated Absinthe be made in a column still?

Post by Contaminator »

I guess you can. But how? Do you make 96 vol and dillute to 10 abv , throw in the herbs and redistil one more time or how do you do it?

Open the needle valve and run it at lower ABV.

Absinthe was traditionally made from grape based spirit, so starting from a 96% neutral spirit is a disadvantage already. Build a suitable pot still while you do more research.
