Hi all, I'm seeking the opinion and expertise of the learned members of this board to take a look at this part and tell me if it might work to control a 240v 2000w element.

All the parts are visible though its a little hard to see whats written on the part connected to the heatsink. Long story short, I don't want to burn the house down. Any assistance is much appreciated and thank you in advance.

I haven't used that exact one, but it is probably ok. My preference is to use a controller that is more than capable of handling the Watts I use, so if they have a 4000W model, I suggest you get that.

Good point. May as well ere on the side of overkill. Just might go with one rated for 10kw :D

Thanks for the tip!

Sure, I'm leaning more towards this one now, as it leaves me with plenty of leeway for upgrades. 240v 10kw though I guess a 4kw would do for now...
