Vapor temperature and production with ccvm
Looking to build a ccvm but wanting to do a sanity check on my understanding. With a ccvm the vapor temp could be control by the height is the coil, the temperature of the coolant, and to some degree the heating element. If I hold the vapor temperature constant my still will produce until the target temperature is reached then stop. If it was 175f that would be the end of the foreshots. The 175 temperature is dependent on the concentration of the wash. If my cooling coil is too low or too efficient the still will constantly reflux and nothing will be produced, potential for a flooded column. So a temperature gauge in the vapor column would be a great tool.
