After some failures, looking for a decent boiler option...

I tried to do the upside down stainless bowl on my brew kettle, but I managed to destroy the only one I could find that was the right size (and it was a bit flimsy anyway). I'm thinking about giving up on putting together my own boiler. I've got my column all done, and I want something that I can easily tri clamp it to. I've thought about a keg, but I really don't like how hard that will be to clean.

What I did was I tried to solder a 3" to 2" tri clamp with the 3" side on the bowl. The bowl warped very badly under a little bit of heat. Thinking about trying again with something like this:

But with shipping reselling my kettle and getting a different boiler altogether is starting to look appealing.
