Gin basket flooding

Hi guys, my still setup never floods, but now im using gun basket it wants to flood, even on fractionally over minimum power, then only changes are repacking of column, and introduction of gin basket in vapor path after reflux coil,

My thoughts are
1. Packed column too tight
2. Gin backet contents causing flood ( flaked almonds maybe )

Any ideas guys, had to stop the run, will continue run tomorrow once ive got a handle on it

2" column, 3" gin basket , the boiler has not puked, as there is a sight glass at bottom, but for some reason it just builds up and floods
