3" sight glass, copper bubble plate build

I am thinking of an upgrade to my 2" column 8 gallon boiler. (3kw) I propose using four 3" copper bubble plates within their own sight glasses, rather than a glass bubble plate column.

In the first instance, before I adapt my boiler with a 3" tri clamp ferrule, I was going to temporarily use a 2" to 3" bowl type tri clamp adapter/reducer. I appreciate that this would have a 'bottle neck' effect, possibly reducing volume of ethanol vapour.
However, by placing another 3" to 2" adapter at the top of the sight glass column, would this help to equalize vapour flow ? and help with the hydraulic action etc. I was hoping then, that my 2" dephlegmator would be enough to knock down and condense the vapour.
Final product delivery to a 2" shotgun condenser.

I was looking to speed up production by two or three hours whilst maintaining purity/quality of product.

I would be interested to know the views of any who have experimented with this build configuration, and if so, would I get any beneficial results or would I be wasting my time and best proceed to use 3" components throughout. - Thanks in anticipation.
