My dad got this from a friend in the business before they shut down, trying to figure out what I can google to get more answers on the manufacturer and if it’s useable on small scale distillation.

The only specs I know are as follows

LAL-20
24v Dc
Valve actuator to fit a 5/8ths shaft

Any help is appreciated!

If it were mine, I'd be taking it apart by now to see what makes it tick

Fluid dynamics engineering and control is my profession of sorts.

It's an electric water control valve made by Yueqing City Haidi Electric (not sure of spelling) or a clone.
It's a Chinese product and could be sold under a bunch of different labels.
Been a while since I've seen one of them.

I'm not sure what you would use it for on a home still. Typically you would control water/fluid flow with it in an industrial setting but the flow rate would be far to much for anything home distilling wise.

You might be better off selling it on eBay or something and using the money to purchase equipment designed for you size still. :)

Hey thank you a lot!

I’ve done my research and located it’s parent distribution site for my specs to list it,

Last question I have is, I can’t find the LAL-20 version, only LAL-10, 05, 10s etc.

What do those stand for? And what would LAL-20 mean, as a result?

LAL means it's a Linear Actuators. 20 normally is normally the physical size. ie Height
When it comes to actuators you will normally see LAL as well as
LAR = Linear Rotary Actuators
LAS = Linear Slide Actuators
Then you can see things like Series Linear Actuator which are a type of LAL, etc..

Try emailing the company to see if you can get a pdf for it.
