Olympic keg still and thumper: safety fruit?

Olympic keg still and thumper: safety fruit?

15 gallon + 5 gallon thumper.. is there any cautionary tales or is it a safe setup (plugging, etc) for adding fruits etc to thumper? Any additional advice related specifically to this equipment?
