Joining the group to advance my knowledge and interact with fellow enthusiasts.
It had been several years since I had made Vodka; due to Covid, I thought it would be idea to resurrect the hobby. The bonus is that we can now use the Heads and tails as hand sanitizer.
I completed my first batch in many years but started thinking about process and equipment improvements. For a long time I searched these forums for information and thought it would be fun and informative to interact with the community.
Years ago, I built my own variation of the Boka reflux design using 1 1/2 inch copper pipe; 2-inch was not available in my area.
Over the years, I have made a few nice runs of vodka based on the Birdwatchers wash recipe.

Thank You AC. I wish that I had kept up with the hobby all along. Finding that the stores were sold out of good cane sugar (my preference), I was delayed for a few weeks. I finally found 20lb waaay back under a store shelf that had been overlooked.
