new to distilling . Looking forward to a lot of time spent and some fun..Looking to learn a lot. Plan to build my own still but first going to learn to perfect the craft on my baughten still. It is a 13 gallon from north stills. milk can ss with a 3 inch column with reflux jacket. 1750 watt 110 element times 2 and a pwd controller. Ive ran vinigar water to clean it up and learn a little while doing and sucess . so now going to start a batch of birdwatchers and delve right into this.... H ope to learn a lot from the pro;s

Calgry alberta is where my boots have rested for the last 25 years. t he first 25 all over british columbia. Im thinking id like to specialize in brandy and rum. and perhaps bable a bit in to the rye wiskey eh!!

Rye whiskey rules!!! If you don't do an all grain version, check out Odin's Rye Bread in Tried & True. I'm on Gen 5, and it's delicious & easy to make.

Getting started is much better than planning to get started.
It is far to easy to spend a bunch of time planning the ultimate solutions and never beginning.
