Scoop of foam from preheated beer

I'm currently doing a couple back to back 36L stripping runs in my 50L keg of a single malt mash and to speed things up I put about 25L of the next lot in a T500 boiler to preheat. Once it hit 35°C I noticed a 3 inch layer of foam that seems to be building. Will scooping it off and keeping it out of the stripping run allow me to strip a bit faster? Any downsides?
