got my first ag going (post in "my first" section), should be finishing up nxt cpl days or so.
plan on putting some wash in thumper and rest in pot total 7 gal and make stripping run and repeat for nxt 7. then make spirit run. I'll separate and learn some on making cuts using the guide for beginners.
questions
1. sound like a game plan?
2. would you do anything with the left over grains and back set?

And you should save a quart or two of the backset for your next all grain mash in case you need to “sour it”, that is, acidify it a little. But be gentle with the backset, as a little will go a long way to lower the pH.

Ref the backset and grains, feed them to animals if you can. But if not like me, dig them into the garden.
