Re-Intro

Post by Prole »

I used to come here years ago and migrated to the Artisan Distiller site as "Idle Hands." I've been cooking for about 20 years -- mostly absinthe. I'm glad to come back here. This is certainly the best source of information to us small-time, home cookers. I reside in Tidewater, VA. Aside from absinthe, I love to make fruit brandies -- old country style like Slvovitz. I have a fig tree and make a Fig Rhum using raw Panella sugar and I also like making Pear brandy. Again, good to be back and thanks for the many voices of experience.

Welcome, we have a few good threads on absinthe but most are several years old. Hope you will share some of your successful recipes or at least compare them to several on our forum.
