Hey I'm Max,
I have been home brewing wines and beer for years now. I'm looking to go the next step. To learn how distillation works. I want to try to build a simple pot still to start, and I'm looking for guidance.

Hi Maxw
All the guidance you need is here in the pages of Home Distiller. I think I had around 30 posts in the first year after signing up with HD. And those posts were mostly for clarification of what I was reading here. It’s all here, and more.
Good luck and have fun.

Hello and welcome to HD. Plenty of plans on the construction area to help you out. Simple keg pot still is easy, cheap, and works well. Good luck, have fun and be safe.

Simple Lil' Pot Still, no temp guage, no carbon, no scrubbers, nuthin' fancy. Sometimes use a thumper, sometimes don't.
