Newb here to learn.
As the title says "newb here to learn" no clear direction i want to go so probably going to dabble with everything. I know rum and whisky is on the list. Who knows what else though. Thinking I may want to try something with honey (whatever that may evolve in to)
Re: Newb here to learn.
Welcome, if you are mentioning rum ad whisky then you are probably looking at a pot still or a flexible still reflux such as a CM or a CCVM design.

Hello and welcome to HD. You will probably want a modular system. Plenty of threads to help you with it too. Have fun and be safe.

Welcome!
Nice avatar, it's been a long time since I saw Foamy around!
CM and CCVM are two different types of reflux stills. Cooling Management and Condesor Controlled Vapor Management. Search for those phrases and you'll find more in depth information![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

Welcome to the forum. If variety is what you want, there are plenty of different spirits and techniques right here on this forum. I would start with a basic keg still with a 4 inch sanitary fitting on top . That way you can attach any style column you want. I would start with a basic pot still column and learn to run it well using some of the tried and true recipes. Plenty of advice here to get you set up properly and running good liquor in no time.
