Sounds almost too good to be true. Putting 8 years of aging on whiskey in only 30 minutes would be huge.

I'm callin' bullshit. The guy who makes this claim is obviously a con.
"The look and bouquet of the drink is improved and because of the chemical changes, the alcohol is easier to absorb by the kidneys and therefore, hangovers are virtually eliminated.
No such thing as hangover-free ethanol, I'm here to tell ya. And besides, it looks like the guy doesn't even know what goes on in a hangover.

Sound like bottle switching to you? The pictures that accompany the article show something that would clearly be portable enough to demonstrate in the tasting room.

There is no way, at least not that science knows today, to bend and compress 8 years down into 30 minutes... That's why it's called "aged"... Anything else is just "artificial aging" of appearance and taste only...

so i should run down to my local electronic or gardening store and buy an ultrasonic mist maker?
where would be the best place to put it, maybee in the boiler, if it takes 1hour to do a run, would that mean it is aged 8, 12 or 18 years as its leaving the condensor
