Hola from Costa Rica

I live in the mountains of Costa Rica. I've been doing fermentation for years---lots of Mead, and I make tons of cheeses, as well as other fermented things like hot sauces. I have a degree in Chemistry so I'm accustomed to the distillation process, but I've never distilled alcohol for consumption, so this site has been a great help for the practical side of things.

So I've been lurking and reading and studying lots of information here (as well as lots of books) and I just wanted to introduce myself, say thank you, and post about my first distillation experience in the forum below.
