CSST to connect thump keg?

I bought a China pot still, and the thump keg they sent is a joke. 3/4 gallon on an 8-gallon boiler. I'm replacing with a 4 gallon pot, but then the the line they sent with the thump key will be far too short.

All of the line they sent is CSST, so I figured I would replace it with the same. Lucky for me, Lowes has a 2 foot CSST with a 1-in connector on sale for 75% off today. But it notes "rated to 200 degrees & 200 PSI". Then, further down the page in the "SPECIFICATIONS" section, it says "Working Temperature Range 40 to 180 degrees F".

If I get this and remove the SharkBite end, is it safe at still temperatures? Or best not to use this in a still? Obviously, not going too far over 200F (since water boils are 212), but I wasn't sure.

Is there a liner? Is it strippable? if there is no liner its an unknown grade if stainless steel.

Which doesn't matter much unless it will rust. give it an inspect in the store, and decide.

My personal view ( without seeing the product first hand ) is that the connectors probably have a rubber seal and that is why it has a temp rating . If you cut off the connector .... its just stainless steel . ... so one can assume seeing its for domestic water usage that its 316 and good to go .

But like Cob said , you need to check if it has a rubber /synthetic lining .....I doubt it , but it needs to be checked for sure

The first sentence of this thread should read.

The only one I've ever seen or tried to use in person was beyond a joke.

The FIP "female iron pipe" end on the CSST can be made to work with a PTFE gasket
But the sharkbite end can't be used.
I'd take the csst back and get 3/4" corrugated copper tubing with FIP fittings on both ends.
Lowes has it in 18" length and it's cheaper than the SS.
If the 3/4" female pipe fitting on the ends ain't what's needed.
With the copper tubing, it's easy to cut the ends off and solder on something else..
