Hey all, im going to attempt to make some strawberry snaps, I wanted some walkthroughs on how to make myself some good strawbrerry brew. As of now, i was going to take alot of strawberrys, mash them up and throw some sugar in and then ferment it. Its really crude and i was wondering if anyone had any tips.
I looked around on the the homedistiller site and followed a few links and read that using a cooking pot/wok method, is the best for distilling snaps, is this true?. I have a potstill that i was going to use but, if this would work out better and give me a finer product i would go that way. Allthough i hear using that cooking pot/wok method there is no way to advoid methanol.
