Pawpaw brandy

Hey guys looking for an opinion on a Paw paw wash, lots of paw paws this yr so i figured id give it a go. De-seed and pureed about 5 gallons of finish wash and let sit until the next day and when I got back to it that evening it had taken off before i could pitch yeast. Had about a 3" fruit cap. I pushed the cap down and let go another day and then another keeps forming a cap. I'm guessing that it is fermenting on its own. Should i hold off on pitching yeast and let the natural yeast do the work for me?
