That report seems to suggest Antimony is quite safe .

Interesting that dept Education and training banned all Antinomy in schools years ago . And gov would spend $20Million cleaning up an old local Antinomy mine site . They generally don’t pour money into things they can white wash .

I think I’d like to see a whole lot more evidence before I’d trust it . … but thats just me .

Had more than one rum and half way through cooking up a huge batch of tomatoe sauce...but...I think you will find that many of the lead free solders, including those sold in the big green shed here in Australia will list Antimony as an ingredient
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solder# ... g%20points.
Scroll down to the lead free bit
As stated....could be off track......Friday night is Rum night.

The stuff I get from Big green shed in Aus is Aquasafe lead free solder from Consolidated Alloys .

Checking their SDS sheets . No Antimony in it .Just Tin and Silver

My opinion is I wouldn’t use it . There are other solders available without it .

Its purpose seems to be to make the solder harder . There is absolutely nothing wrong with the strength of the solder I use that contains no Antimony .

Lead-Free plumbing solder 95/5 Tin/Antimony is a thing.
It is safe and one-third the price of silver solder.

I personally wouldn't waste my silver solder on anything but Stainless.
I broke down and bought a pound of Stay Brite #8 but I won't be using it to sweat copper pipe.

Mine is called aquasol and it is not even 5 % ,only 1%,other think I'm wondering, since it is a metal,so it's molecular weight is high, rising vapors wouldn't pick it up and carry it in to finish product, this is just me using logic.

So why not apply the same logic to brass with lead in it ?
If Lead can come out of brass , can’t Antimony come out of the solder ?
