I did a full cleaning last night with a vinegar run and sugar shine run. Vinegar came out a sky blue color, cleared up. Sugar came out crystal clear with some floaters. But I pushed the sugar through fast to get it over with, so I believed it I just pushed too far and got a small puke.

Me and my bud are mid run today on a batch. We are filtering from the spout with a coffee filter and seeing a lot of sediment getting caught.

Jars and pretty, clear, taste amazing. I'm thinking pushing the sac run too hard has trash caught in the condenser, but was curious if anyone else has a different opinion.

If I had to guess, it would he burnt barley or something from pushing the sac run too hard.

I’d be more worried about using a plastic Funnel .

It's stainless steel. I'm a worried wart, so I don't let any plastic touch anything, except the jug the spring water comes in.

Yeah it probably was a bit of residue from the clean foam up you had .

In most cases , you will double pot still so a little bit of puke or puke residue in the stripping run is not going to matter . I ‘d recommend you rinse out the condenser with water after a puke so that when you do the second ( Spirit) run , it’ll sort that out .
