Jolly ranchers?
I have soaked some hard candy “cinnamon fire” jolly ranchers n a pint of neutral, and it tastes just like fireball?! I am wondering if anyone else has tried tried this with jolly ranchers? I have tried with flavors of fruit rollups but the product comes out cloudy. No one can dispute jolly ranchers been around long as edelbrock, any chances cherry or root beer come out clear and tastefull??

Re: Jolly ranchers?
I did some when I first got started. Dumped like 25 in a quart, ended up adding another 5 or so to get it sweeter. I used Blue Raspberry, Strawberry, and watermelon. They make really nice looking jars as well. I added mine to 90 proof. At 90 proof, I usually take a double shot in a tumbler with ice and then put a few seconds of my fridge water which is probably less than a shot. It makes a nice little change of pace. I don't really appreciate sweet drinks that much. But might dilute it down to around 40proof just to see how it blends out and how drinkable it is.
I've found that hardly any of my 'friends' like much higher than 40 proof anything. I think philbilly has a video on it which is where I got the idea.

I just read an article about the dangers of drinking that scared the crap out of me.

Try this instead of.using candy to flavor your liquor:

I cut the sugar in a little less than half. I have 2 pints on cinnamon sticks that will be ready in a couple of weeks. Much better than fireball in my opinion and several friends and family members agree.

Lord, give me patience, but give it to me NOW!

I remember when fireball first came out and members were trying to duplicate them with jolly rogers.
