Just sharing for anyone interested. My city subsidizes the purchase of a rain barrel and it looks like several others do as well.
You can check at www.rainbarrelfundraising.com. I just picked up a 60 gallon vessel for far cheaper than say, a brute. More than enough to contain the most violent ferments I’ll ever have. Looks like they have new and recycled HDPE options.
