Damn sad news. Rest in peace Truckinbutch. Condolences and strength to Mrs TB and their whole family.

Go Rest High on the Mountain Butch.

I saw what you contributed here on the forum. I never had the chance to meet you, truly my loss.

Prayers of comfort for the family..

I am going to miss that guy. He always had a good word to say and would tell it like it was. I loved listening to all his stories , they always made me smile. I do wish I would have been able to meet him face to face and give him a big hug. I am sure he is working on a new bench right now waiting for the rest of us to join him in time. See you later my friend.

There a poem that the ole boys talked about many a night.

https://www.poemhunter.com/poem/do-not- ... -and-weep/

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.

- Mary Elizabeth Frye

Just saw this today... the Liars bench ain't never gonna be the same!

Never met the man but his good 'ole boy way of explaining and getting right to the point I will certainly miss. Always looking to lend a hand and help a fellow distiller.

Will be dearly missed.

RIP Butch, damn sad to hear of his passing. Haven’t been on in a long while and decided to stop in… and got horrible news.
Well shit.
Numerous 57L kegs, some propane, one 220v electric with stilldragon controller. Keggle for all-Grain, two pot still tops for whisky, a 3" reflux with deflag for vodka. Coming up, a 4" perf plate column. Life is short, make whisky and drag race!

Wow. TB and I joined around the same time and were from the same area. He was the first person I really hit it off with here. But we lost touch overtime when I left the group. This was really sad news to return to. RIP brother.

I missed going to his first event due to spending time on the move that has separated me from this hobby, and all my hobbies. I have always regretted that. TB was a really good guy. RIP.
