Do I need glucoamylase enzyme

Hi to everyone have a question about glucoamylase enzyme I usually add it to a molasses and raw sugar wash but haven’t got any atm and would like to start a new wash would it ok to start the wash without it and add it in a day or two once I can get it cheers

Yep your good to go, shouldn't need it at all. Check out the tried and true rum recipes

The glucoamylase enzyme is used to convert starch into sugar (in combination with alpha-amylase), if your wash is done with sugar you don't need any enzyme, just nutrients for the yeast.
