I just made a small test batch from 3 gallons of leftover crab apple sour cider I had on nitro from a year ago.
I ended up with about 24 oz at 110 proof give or take. The % of crab apples was about 50% of my fruit bill.
This stuff should be more popular. It's going to be very good after some rest as it was glorious right off the air still. I'm extremely surprised. I'd recommend going for it, but ymmv
Don't be scared of crab apples!
