This photo popped up as a memory on FB. 10 years ago I helped Mash Rookie cook ten turkeys in his glassblowing ovens to serve the homeless in Seattle. That year Seattle experienced a lot of flooding and it was a tough time for some.

That’s awesome! Never thought a glass blowing oven could be used to cook a large quantity of Turkey.

Homeless here in Edmonton are having tough days. Winter and now an infectious diarrhea going through the tent camps :shock: . WTF when they are in a tent with no wash facilities.

Wow this is pretty cool Bushman I just stumbled across this post and remember very clearly when you guys did those turkeys. Time does fly.
Sometimes I wonder why is that Frisbee getting bigger......and then it hits me.

Yep. I'm sure the homeless were very happy to have all that good food served to them. What a great gesture and selfless act. We need more of this in the world.
