Greetings all.
I've been distilling for a number of years here in middle TN and have read many threads on this forum.
I finally pulled the trigger and signed up.
I currently have a 5 gallon pot still but am looking to upsize in the near future. I've never used a thumper and am hoping to source a new, larger rig with a thumper.
I really want to get better at distilling and hope that this community will help me get there.

Welcome.
If you drink and also share with family and loved ones, a 50 liter kettle is the go.
Using a thumper puts you into barrel strength one and done.
Whiskey is far more forgiving than rum.
Anymore and I'll have to charge you a consultation fee....

I'll be damned! A fellow Nashvillian!
I've tried my hand at shine, bourbon, agave shine, peach brandy.
I've consumed all that I've made and rarely share w/friends because it never feels even close to what one can buy. My brewing is good enough to share. My distilling, not so much.
