Hi,
I am based in the UK and have been making small quantities of hedgerow sloe gin for many years. So far, I have always used retail gin as the base but would like to start producing from scratch. I am hoping to learn from you guys and gals as my knowledge only extends to wine and beer brewing and to enhancing pre manufactured spirits rather than distilling them.
Cheers!

Welcome ,
I have sloes in my freezer , I only learned what they look like this year and then I started seeing them everywhere so have picked up enough to make a fair few bottles . I just need to get round to making some vodka to infuse them in then I can see if I like it or not . damson vodka is really good in my experience ,
all the info is here , your experience in beer + winemaking will definitely help
