Sealing/Packing

Post by TheBandit_2020 »

Still new to distilling what can I use on my joints to stop the vapor from escaping? what do i put around my fill cap? Any help is much appreciated, I read somewhere Teflon tape could be used or Wheat Paste, but i was hoping for some feed-back before hand. Thanks in advance.

Bandit, you NEED to read a while. First off, you can’t control the temperature that the wash will boil in the hopes of producing ethanol. Physics won’t let you.

And for the best ideas for construction, have a look at the Construction forum. When you’ve read A LOT, then most of your questions will be answered.
