I did my first cleaning run today on my 12 gal pot still with a 5 gal thumper and worm it has a 3500 w 240v heating element I controlled with a potentiometer. I ran it on full wattage for two hr. today and I was still getting some blue tint out of it. I will do it again tomorrow for another two to three hours. Can I expect to hopefully get all the blue tint out this way? Next week weather permitting I plan on doing a sugar run. Suggestions?
