Hi All,
Yet another Aussie new guy.
Have no idea what i'm doing, following the instructions on the packets disaster looming.
Keen to learn more of the art of distilling, no offense to anyone intended but I'd like to be able to add my own flavors to a spirit rather than store brought essences.

Welcome. The best thing about this hobby is the ability to make your “own” product so no offense there at all! Enjoy the journey and looking forward to hearing what you are making.

I just read an article about the dangers of drinking that scared the crap out of me.
That’s it. No more reading!

I knew absolutely nothing when I joined either. Made a couple batches of beer 20 years ago and that was it. Now I'm making wine, brandy, mead, rum, whiskeys, bourbon you name it, I'll try it.
Everything you need to learn for whatever you wanna make is here.buried in the archives.
Your gonna love it here.
