Electric stills? I’m asking because I can’t find any info on good electric stills, (pot still), sold commercially. I’m asking for my Brother who doesn’t want to build one. 10-15 gallons is his preference. He wants a complete still, nothing that has to be modified. Ready to clean then run.

There’s a bunch of electric element capable milk can boilers on the market. Do your homework and look. I’d do the work for you if you paid me for my time. But you won’t, so help yourself.

You Jellybean have been here long enough to answer this yourself. If you don't want to research it for him why should we. I know your looking for someone to pop in with I got this one and it's great. Your brothers needs and what he'll be making is more in your wheelhouse to give a good answer too.

That is not what that link says. Pot stills hand made one at a time in Colarado does not mean made in America, or that the components are either. I have nothing against components built somewhere else, or supporting local ... but if it is that important to you to not buy " Chineseium" or some such... you should probably get them to laser etch a flag or something like made in the US of A on their kit. I support local when and where I can but let's keep politics out of a great hobby and forum.

Not going to say they aren’t made in USA, but a google maps search for their facility shows a strip mall shop without a garage opening for receiving raw materials, which would be required for producing your own. Couple that with almost every supplier running out of boilers when China went down for covid and… I’ve ordered ferrules from Alibaba.com and received them with etched logos from three different American manufacturers.

I'm really surprised that so many people believe what they read in the advertising by different Still Retailers.....there are a small minority who build their own stills and parts .......the rest are imported parts to the best of my knowledge .......are people really that gullible these days ?

Having been to their facility I can tell you it's both. They have 3 in house welders/fabricators that build most of their components. Things like "economy" boilers and t500's are sourced from... wherever. It all comes from somewhere, but wherever it's coming from it is good quality, nice welds, adequate gauge, 304 or 316 stainless. If you want to know where a specific part is made, call them. They are very pleasant to work with.

Open the link I provided and read their still information. Of course they don't make their own. I have no reason to believe they are not made here. They are very well made.
