I've decided to break down and get a new fermenter for christmas.
US Plastic has them, 60 gallon, graduated, 30x38" tanks with stands for $283.56 plus about $100 for shipping.
I think I am gonna stick a false bottom for a keg in it so as to separate the wash from the grain and probably upgrade to a stainless triclover butterfly valve on the bottom.
I'd like to eventually plumb it to where the rinse water and all the spent grains will just run outside where they can be composted.
i got a 55 gallon drum a month or two ago, and let me tell you, you will have more fucking wash then you will know what to do with
ive only done one and a half washes full with it and already i have just under a years worth of neutral. had to stop because ive filled up every suitable container i can lay my hands on with product

I hear ya man! I figure one fill-up of this fermenter should be just enough for about one keg's worth of spirit run of UJSM. Once I do about 5-6 fermentations over the course of the spring thats my EtOH for the year.
Anyhoos, I was kicking up some dust around the website shopping and all, and wouldn't ya know it sure as crap I got a 10% off coupon code in my email box just a little while ago.
