A hombrewer wants to learn how to make Whisky

Post by IPA BREWER »

Hi,

I have been brewing beer, all grain, - mostly IPA type for some years. Now it's time to continue next project try to make my own smoky single malt whisky.

Looking forward to learn a lot in this forum. BR

I just read an article about the dangers of drinking that scared the crap out of me.

That’s it. No more reading!

Welcome to HD and brewing experience does certainly help with the mashing and fermenting side. A few differences. Looking forward to checking out your contributions too as you dive in!

Cheers,
jonny

Welcome to HD. I brewed AG for 25+ years before I started 'extending' the hobby, so about the only issues I had with mashing was learning about using corn. I'm sure you will pick it up very quickly.
