Hi, just like to thank you all for the wealth of information you've all shared over the last few years of my distilling and learning. I've gently made my way through all the sugar washes in the T&T and some experiments, all have felt and tasted positive
, looking forward to doing some grain mashes . We are completely off grid so bottle gas is our heating brought up by a quad, the last 50 meters is a ball ache.... Working on building a wood fired stove at the moment to run a 30lt modified still from Germany ( think it's a China import) to save money and effort . Just been making Absinthe, pastis, gin, some white dog, love the fire piss from t&T, and ferments from berries on the mountain. Have done a lot of macerating with medicinal herbs that grow freely here.
I'm looking forward to being part of this community as retirement has freed up much of my time .
Thank you and again respect for all the selfless sharing of this pastime.
