I have a 5 gal pony keg and all the connections to hook it up and run it it would be with 13 gal boiler I was wondering opinions and I would be running low wines this run

I haven't decided yet I was just wondering opinions like can you do 1 & done runs more easy does it really bring your proof up to make it worth it can really flavor and get it to come through things like that I've used this pony keg before but it was on my 26 gal milk can boiler and all I did was put mash in it

As you do not bother to use any interpunction I do hardly understand what you are writing, but the best thing I ever did (distillationwise!) was making adjustments to be able to use any of my boilers as thumpers. From that moment on I could do every experiment that I wanted to do.

I run a thumper rig and run it dry, I also pour about 2 quarts of water out of it after a ten gallon run that would have been in my spirit. It can also be used to add flavor so it depends on what you want to make.

A thumper is another tool in your kit, use it when you need it. Just because you have one, doesn't mean you have to use it often, or for everything you make.

The nice part about modular builds. All my stilling equipment uses 2” tri clamps and can be configured in many different ways. Even the gin still uses 2” tri clamps so I can use any still head on it.

When I have left over wash after stripping runs, may add it to a thumper when doing a spirit run.

My thumper run dry on a ten gallon run removes about two quarts of water that would have been in my drip. It's also called a "doubler" for a reason.It can also be used to add flavor to your run like a gin basket.
