Lets start throwing around a few dates that might work. I'm thinking sometime around the first of June.

I am 100% in. I assume most of us are on the wet side? Maybe meet up for a tour of Westland distillery, then hit a bar or something?

The third weekend in June is best for me. The first two are difficult, but possible. Would need to be a Friday afternoon or Saturday gathering to work for me.

I would love to share stuff I have made, so hopefully we can meet at a private location again.

Remembering out last gathering has me thinking about NerdyBrewer. Has anyone heard from Nerdy in the last year or more? He’s probably still trying to fix that damn shed. ;-)

Great idea. I'm in for either the first or third weekend. Also have some things to share and get feedback. I'm on the wetter side of the wet side, tho can travel where ever.

Third weekend could possibly work for me as well. I am driving 1.5 hours to Seattle so if we do a lot of sampling I will have to probably spend the night or bring my wife as a designated driver.

I’ll be sleeping somewhere near too. It’s a 3 hour drive for me, with no traffic. Last time I brought a sleeping bag and slept in my vehicle. I definitely don’t want to drive under the influence.

I could probably do the 3rd weekend, but going to Seattle really turns me off. I'll try to work up the courage.

If Seattle is such a turn off, you could host at your place :D

I could probably host it at the lodge actually. Plenty of parking, and off the beaten path...

It’s about the company, not location, so a lodge outside of the city would be just fine with me. Would the lodge powers that be let us spark up a grill/BBQ there? Booze is always better with hot food.

I need to start bottling some things up for the event. Can’t wait to share some things.

If the lodge is cool having us for our little party, I'm good with that. Off the beaten path is much better than Seattle.
I'll bring either a pork butt or a brisket and some samples for all to try.

If you want to PM the location of the lodge is it on the wet or dry side of the state? Any interest in a group buy of Panela or grains?

I'm always up for a group buy either Panela or grains, maybe Skagit malting or sugar daddy. But sorry to say I no longer have access to a loading dock.

No group buy for me. I’m fine on grains for now and I’m picking up a handful of bags of panela from Badmo this weekend. I’m almost set to start rum season.

I'll clear it with the lodge secretary this weekend, and get a PM out afterwards.
We've got a pit boss pellet smoker, full kitchen, and plenty of room. It's often rented out for private events so the only way I see it being problematic is if we can't find a weekend that works and it isn't already booked.

Currently the 3rd weekend in June has a tentative booking. If it can get freed up (renter doesn't sign) we can get the lodge for a SSS Meeting.
There is a hotel in town, and also a small RV Park for anyone who wants to drag a camper in and see Mt Rainier or whatever.
Local distillery, a winery, and a few micro breweries.

So... SWMBO just reminded me that my presence is required in Grant's Pass Oregon the 3rd weekend of June since she will not tow the 5th wheel. (I honestly thought we canceled that trip)
So if anyone is interested in a weekend in August, when she hasn't planned anything for me :wtf: I can get the lodge for a get together.

Just do it! No one meet up will work for everyone. I can't do 3rd weekend in June. Will be fishing in ID. But will join you in August. Folks should still do a 3rd weekend in June meet up.

Okay. I'll reserve a Saturday in August, and see who shows.
