I got some scraps of reclaimed american chestnut wood. I am gonna try to age something with it, I'm not sure what yet.
Do you guys think I need to season the wood?
Any guess on roughly how long and what temp I should bake it for? I couldn't any info online.
Thanks

Refer to Otis’ thread on various fruit woods and how to process them. He’s got a great thread on the subject.
