Kiwi in the Wairarapa checking in

Post by ColetteinNZ »

Evening folks. I’m signing in from the Wairarapa in NZ.
I’ve recently bought a T500 and am in the process of making my first batch of gin.
This will be my second time distilling. The first was with a big copper still my mate made out of an old hot water cylinder, heating with BBQ gas. A pot still.
Now I’m using a reflux and it all seems a lot different to my first time.
Hope I can find all the answers I’m looking for!! :-)

My pot still is made out of an old hot water cylinder. Electric though. I love it. Good luck over there.
