If one has a decent still setup is it worth spending the money on quality grains or is it much better to wait until you have run the still for awhile. I plan on playing with rum first. My thing is when I return next from the states I could bring back 120 lbs of grain for 60 bucks on my plane ticket. Rye and red wheat costs an arm and a leg down here. I can get some milled products here but not the same quality or if it is I pay 25 bucks for 10 kg high protein flour milled who knows when. Shame I can't fly up swap some panela for some grains.
Thanks for your time,
