Sacrificial run quantity

Hello all,
I'm waiting on my final parts to come in from the mail before I solder it all up and get my new keg still up and running. likely be another few weeks. That being said, other than covering the electric heating element what should the size of my sacrificial run be? It's a 15.5 gallon tank, is a 5 gallon batch of sugar shine mash going to be enough or should I make the same quantity of mash I'd make for a normal run? I'll be doing the vinegar and water first of course, just didn't know how many gallons is needed to make sure she's cleaned up on the inside. Thanks!
