I've been distilling for about 6 months now. Started on a duplast still with turbo yeast and have since upgraded to a copperhead boiler with their pot still head and an alcoengine reflux head for neutral.
I'm trying to make Italian Amaro style liqueurs primarily but also whatever else turns up that I can ferment and distill . Currently I have a sugar wash waiting to be run, a cornflake whiskey wash settling and a tub of 7.5kg of apricot jam (+water, yeast) that has nearly finished fermenting... oh and have been collecting stripping runs of beer that I get when the lines at my SO's pub get emptied, making a mongrel 'whiskey' sorta thing with probably 40+ different beers in it so far
